Whether you’re pulling an old, unfinished draft out of the drawer for the first time in years, you’ve hit a wall in your current work in progress, or you’ve got a complete first draft but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full manuscript critique, my Creative Kickstart package can help you identify what’s working and what’s not, unlock your creative blocks, and plan out your next steps in writing and revising.

Here’s What the Creative Kickstart Includes:

• A thirty-minute phone or video call to discuss your manuscript, your goals, and any specific questions or problem areas you have.

• A critique of up to thirty pages of your draft, in the form of a memo outlining the strengths and development opportunities, posing questions designed to support further manuscript development, and offering two to three reading recommendations to inspire and/or guide revisions. In my memo, I’ll address some or all of the following areas, based on your draft’s individual needs:

  • Voice/Point of View

  • Setting

  • Pacing/Structure

  • Mechanics

• A thirty-minute followup call to review and answer any questions you have.
